About the program

Social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube are commonly used by our children for entertainment and social connection.


From the 10th of December this year, the Federal government will start enforcing a ban on all social media platforms (those listed above and more) for all people aged under 16 years.


This raises questions and concerns for many families.

Join Dr. Grace Hancock as she details which platforms will be banned, the latest information on how it will be implemented, important information about how these new laws will be enforced, and what responsibilities parents have for their child's online activity. We will also focus on what you can start doing now as a family to be ready for this change including discussions to start raising with your children and a transition plan.
